This intensely colored wine opens with aromas of dark berries and creosote. Firm tannins lead to a palate of dark fruit, dominated by blue and black berries, that finishes smoothly with hints of herbs and spice.
This wine is cofermented in traditional Côte Rôtie style, meaning we mix the Syrah with 5% Viognier fruit before it is crushed and it all goes through fermentation together.
