With more than two decades of winemaking under their belts, including 15 years caring for their own vineyard, Tim and Kelly are veterans of Red Mountain. They bring this experience to bear when crafting their wines. The Reserve wines bring together a subset of grape clones that have proven themselves through the years; thoughtful vineyard practices that affect yield, berry size, concentration, flavor and color intensity; and careful barrel selections that serve as a spice cabinet to accentuate the wine. The Reserve is the first wine blended each year Tim & Kelly taste through all the barrels in the winery and put together potential combinations – once they decide on the final blend, any leftover reserve style barrels are released for use in our other wines.
